FIRST AWARD!

Jacob won a penmanship award at school today. When I received the notification from his teacher I was sure she made a mistake and sent the note home in the wrong "Jacob" folder. You see there are 2 other children in his class with the same name. After the Mass today there was a ceremony. He won the award and is so proud. His teacher tells me he has made great improvement in his handwriting and coloring skills (I noticed too) and he truly deserved the recognition.

Aunt Clo, AKA the computer teacher at Corpus Christi Catholic school, won an Outstanding Teacher Award or some other fancy title that I can't remember, LOL. Clo is an outstanding teacher and person. She loves teaching and loves her students. I am so proud of her and so thankful that she is part of my family.

A MOTHERS DAY TEA

Jacob's class hosted a tea for all the Mother's. They arrived in hand-made ties and carrying bonnets for the Mom's. They also sang some adorable songs about Mother's. Jacob's favorite had the line " who makes sure we wear clean underwear". LOL

My bonnet was made from a paper plate with flowers glued to the top. Jacob designed his own tie and I am very proud of him taking the time to do so. He is very impatient with coloring and "crafty" tasks.

Thank You Jacob!!!! I love you very much and could not ask for a better Mother's Day celebration.
