PACI FREE!!!!!

Do you see my orange Paci in this picture. It's in my left hand, I took it out to play this harmonica.
My Paci got a hole in it last Friday night. Mommy and Daddy said I was a big boy and didn't need it, but I disagree. I have not been able to suck on my paci for almost SEVEN days. It has a really big hole in it and I just cant make it work no matter what. During the first few nights I would wake up and look for it. Momma gave it to me and I remembered it was broken, so I rolled over and went back to sleep. I have slept the last two night without waking up looking for it. I think I am getting use to being without it, but if you find one without a hole please send it my way.

Momma here: Caleb is doing really well. He has stopped asking for it every few minutes. I still have it handy just in case I have to show him the big hole. Daddy cut it really good. We did the same with Jacob and it worked in one day for him. Caleb has been more stubborn but all in all not as bad as I envisioned.

LITTLE FIELD DAY

Jacob recently had a "field day" at school. I missed the whole thing but Daddy said he had an awesome day. He won 8 ribbons, some for first place.

The girls in the picture are his cousins. Abby and Julia. They attend the same school. Come to think of it, 5 of the 9 Grandchildren on my husbands side attend the same school. Caleb attends the daycare that is affiliated with the school- Corpus Christi Catholic School! GO COUGARS!!!!

I love this school. Everyone is personable and the students are polite (opening doors, yes ma'am etc). The students get a solid education with God involved. What I love the most is my children learn about God and our religion. I could go on and on but I wont. ;)
I cant wait for many more Field days, maybe I will get to attend one! Heehee

A DAY AT THE FARM

Jacob and his cousin Brock. They are only 3 months apart and attend the same school
but in different classes
Jacob took a school field trip to a local farm. He had a GREAT time and was very excited to tell me all about once we got home.

He made sure I knew that it was very important to not chase the baby animals. He says "their mommas don't like it and they will knock you down"

His class also had their Easter egg hunt at the farm. Each child (30) was responsible for bringing 6 candy filled eggs. Jacob found one of his....hmmm, What are the odds?

Caleb promptly ate all of Jacob's candy...it's OK though because Jacob does not like candy or cake or cookies or anything sweet. He will eat vanilla and strawberry ice cream.. WEIRD child, not liking sweets....

JACOB'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!

Jacob's party was a huge success. It was a beautiful, warm day! We had 53 people attend and Pop made it, yay!!!!!!!!
A church organization had a band, blow-up slides and a blow-up castle in the park right next to us. The music was great and they invited us to join in the fun as well. I will post pictures soon!!!

Thanks to all who attended and all who lavished him with gifts. He got waaaaayyyyy to many toys, seriously. :) (You cant walk in the playroom)

HAPPY 6 YEARS OLD MY BABY BOY!!!!!!

Jacob, my first born, You are 6 years old today. Oh where has the time gone? I want to make time stand still and keep you young forever.

You are very creative and have a very active imagination. You are always pretending to be some character you see on TV or in movies. Your favorite right now is Patrick from SpongeBob and Mort from the Penguins of Madagascar. You love movies, always wanting to visit the "movie store" or the electronics section of Walmart. Our entertainment center cannot possibly hold anymore movies.

You love your family and often tell us so. You adore your big brother. You are protective of your little brother and love to wrestle with him. We have to remind you that he is smaller (not by very much). Caleb adores you and misses you when you are not around.

You are kind hearted, often taking on the emotion of others.

You are sensitive.

You will share your food, but not your toys, with Caleb.

You are initially shy but when you "warm up" to strangers you don't stop talking.

You have your fathers nack for talking.

You look like your mother and have her sensitivity, sometimes to the extreme.

You like to have "things" in order.

You are having a snack time party with your classmates today. Cupcakes with dinosaurs.

You are having a party tomorrow at the park. The theme is SpongeBob and Scooby Doo. You had to have both.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!

We are so special that we have an "in house barber" and we can have our hair cut at our grandparents house. Yes that is our Pop cutting hair in his kitchen.
Lately our Pop has been to sick to cut our hair and we are quite adamant that no-one else do it.
(Jacob is more flexible, however when i mention to Caleb that he needs a haircut he runs to the phone to call Pop. When he is told someone else has to do it, he screams "No, Pop cut hair")
So hurry up Pop and get better....Caleb's looking quite shaggy.
