MY BABY

Caleb- 2 weeks old. Picture taken 01-10-07. What a sweet, peaceful face...so much changes in two years.

When we ask Caleb his name he replies" baby"

Mommy: No, your name is Caleb!

C: No momma, baby!!!!!!!

Caleb loves to be the baby and that is OK with me since he is my "last baby"

Caleb calls Jacob Beh, I guess that's what came out from the word brother.

Daddy is Gaa-gaa- sounds like Daddy right? LOL

Kelli- our rat terrier who has white fur with black spots is "cow"

And Oscar (our Dachshund) is ah-ha and "messy"

When Lewis tells Caleb he is bad he replies " No Gaa you a bad Ki-Ki (kitty, kitty. Now remember we don't have cats so I have no idea where this came from) Everyone, except Grandma (Ga-Ga) and sometimes Momma is a bad ki-ki.
Caleb is happy in the mornings when he wakes on his own.
When we have to wake him it's a whole different story.
Lewis woke him up one recent morning. He looked him and said, " no Gaa, more sleep and fell back on the bed and pulled the covers up. I guess I am getting a glimpse at the teenage years.
On the weekends he wakes early and gets 1 inch from my face and screams" momma get up" Nice kid huh?
More Calebisms later, and coming soon- Jacobisms!

RECENT PICTURES OF MY BOYS

JACOB AND CALEB

ASHTON- WHO IS AS TALL AS I AM

It's been a while....busy, crazy life!

Quick recap. Boys are doing great. Caleb is into everything and is now being called "mischief". We noticed that he has become quite protective of Jacob. Last week Daddy witnessed some anger and hitting while he and Jacob picked up Caleb form his daycare class. Jacob sat down in the floor and the other 1-2 year old children proceeded to have a pile up on top of Jacob. Caleb became quite angry and was yelling " my Bah"( that is what he calls Jacob)and started hitting the other kids in the head.

Jacob is progressing in school and will move to the first grade. Hopefully he will be able to "catch up" with continued tutoring throughout the summer. He will be six years old in 4 DAYS!!!! omg where did that time go? He is having a SpongeBob and Scooby Doo party- yes both of them....

My Dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma- a cancer that is very complex. He is taking his first round of chemo and seems to be responding...i say that in the sense that he is not sick and still has his hair, well what little hair he had to begin with, LOL.

My rock solid mother is hanging in there and caring for him and bringing home the bacon since he cant work right now. GO MOM. My hero....
