Here's proof during a recent trip to Toys R' Us. Caleb walked down the aisle and grabbed all he could and looked at me with the sweetest face and asked " go bye-bye Mommy"

MY NEW GLASSES!

Jacob was quite happy to be getting glasses because cousin Brock wears them and he strives to be just like Brock (he's 3 months older).

Jacob does not complain that he has to wear these, but needs to be constantly reminded not to stretch them and to take care of them. Shoot, What 5 year old wouldn't?

Speaking of 5 year old children. I caught Jacob looking at his Daddy's Maxim magazine. For those of you who do not know what that is, think of a Cosmo but with scantily clad women throughout. He locked himself in the bathroom for about 20 minutes and when I went to check on him he swore he was not doing anything, but Moms' know. He later confessed that he was "looking at the Girls" and when questioned the reason for looking he states " Mom they are hot." Now I tried very hard not to laugh but could not contain myself. I went on to ask him what "hot" means and he states" Some are pretty and some are not"

I also asked him why he locked the door to the bathroom and his defense was this: "If you saw me I knew you would say 'you cant look at that you are only 5' " Holy moley!! Where does this kid get this stuff?

My husband has been banned from the Maxim magazines because my 5 year old insists he can look at them when he is 6. Hmph...not if Momma has anything to do with it.

GOD'S BEAUTY

This was taken from my backyard at 6:30 am on Monday morning. Those are clouds, not fire, and they stretched from the back of my house to the front a lot like a rainbow does.
